Removal (4.3L)

  1. Turn ignition off. Raise and support vehicle. on (HO2S1/2), remove connector from the crossmember.
  2. On HO2S2/1, Remove the clip securing the HO2S2/1 to the engine harness. Remove the HO2S2/1 from the harness clip.
  3. On all HO2S disconnect the Connector Position Assurance (CPA) retainer. Disconnect the HO2S electrical connector from the harness. Carefully remove HO2S from exhaust pipe using Oxygen Sensor Tool (J-39194-B).
