Removal (8.1L)

  1. Remove engine sight shield. See ENGINE SIGHT SHIELD  under MISCELLANEOUS. Disconnect Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor harness connector. See Figure.
  2. Remove MAP sensor retaining bolt and washer. Remove MAP sensor from intake manifold. Inspect the MAP sensor seal for wear or damage, replace as necessary.
