Removal (4.8L, 5.3L & 6.0L)

  1. Remove engine sight shield. See ENGINE SIGHT SHIELD  under MISCELLANEOUS.
  2. Disconnect Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor harness connector. See Figure. Remove MAP sensor from intake manifold. Inspect MAP sensor seal for damage. Replace, if necessary.
