Fuel Level Sensor: Removal

  1. Remove the fuel sender assembly. See FUEL SENDER ASSEMBLY  under FUEL SYSTEMS. Disconnect the fuel pump electrical connector.
  2. Remove the fuel level sensor electrical connector retaining clip. Disconnect the fuel level sensor electrical connector. Remove the fuel sensor retaining clip. Remove the fuel level sensor. See Fig 1.
