Air Cleaner Element: Installation

  1. Insert the air cleaner element. Install the air cleaner cover. Tighten the air cleaner cover screws until snug. Install the outlet resonator to the MAF/IAT sensor.
  2. Tighten the air cleaner outlet resonator clamp at the MAF/IAT sensor to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .


  1. Install a new air filter element. Install the air cleaner assembly cover. Tighten the air cleaner assembly top screws until snug.
  2. Connect the MAF/IAT sensor electrical connector. Install the air cleaner outlet duct. See AIR CLEANER RESONATOR OUTLET DUCT .
