Intake Manifold Runner Control Solenoid (3.0L): Installation

NOTE:
The vacuum line that goes to both diaphragms is attached to the solenoid vacuum port that faces down, which is perpendicular to the electrical connector.
- Reconnect both vacuum lines to IMRC solenoid noting that the vacuum line to the diaphragms attaches to the vacuum port perpendicular to the electrical connector.
- Install IMRC solenoid and IMRC solenoid attachment screw to the intake manifold. Tighten the intake manifold runner control solenoid to intake manifold screw to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Connect power brake booster vacuum hose with clamp to intake manifold. Connect vacuum hose to bank 2 intake manifold runner diaphragm.
- Connect IMRC solenoid harness connector. Push connector in until the lock position is felt, than pull back to confirm engagement. Install battery cover and tighter hold down screws.
