Removal (3.0L)

  1. Loosen the clamp at the air cleaner assembly. Disconnect the electrical connector at the Mass Airflow (MAF) sensor. Remove the MAF harness from the clip near the air cleaner bolt.
  2. Remove the air cleaner assembly to the bracket bolt. While holding the outlet resonator/duct assembly back, lift the air cleaner assembly out of the vehicle.
