Removal (Bank 1)

  1. Loosen and lower pinch clamp connecting the bank 1 intermediate pipe/hose to the crossover pipe/hose. Loosen and lower the pinch clamp connecting the bank 1 intermediate pipe/hose to the Secondary Air Injection (AIR) shut-off valve. Remove the nut securing the bank 1 intermediate pipe/hose to the transaxle.
  2. Remove the nut securing the bank 1 intermediate pipe/hose to the AIR shut-off valve bracket. Disconnect the Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) pipe. Carefully remove the bank 1 intermediate pipe/hose from the engine.
