Timing Gear Removal

  1. Remove timing belt. See TIMING BELT REMOVAL & INSTALLATION .
  2. Using Camshaft Locks (J-42069-1 and J-42069-2), lock the camshaft gears when initially loosening the camshaft gear bolts. Remove and discard the camshaft gear bolts. Remove the camshaft gears.
