Hydraulic Valve Lash Adjusters (In-Vehicle): Installation

NOTE: After reassembly, if hydraulic valve lifters are noisy, warm engine and cycle engine RPM from idle to 3000 RPM for 10 minutes or drive vehicle for 5 miles.

Lubricate the lifters with clean engine oil. Install the lifters in their original position, if installing original lifters. Install camshafts. See CAMSHAFTS .
