Fitting Pistons

Measure diameter of piston at a 90 degree angle to piston pin, 9/16" (14.5 mm) from bottom of piston. Measure diameter of cylinder at 90 degree increments at 1/2" (13 mm) from top of cylinder bore and at 4" (100 mm) from top of cylinder bore. If oil clearance exceeds specification, bore cylinders and replace pistons with oversize pistons. If cylinder bores are out-of-round or have excessive taper, hone or bore cylinders as necessary.
