Crankshaft And Main Bearings

Main bearing caps are numbered 1-5. If crankshaft bearing journal dimensions are not within specification, grind journals or replace crankshaft and bearings as necessary. Using bore gauge, check main bearing bore for concentricity and alignment. Replace engine block if crankshaft bearing bores are out of specification.
