Removal (Defroster)

Remove right instrument panel insulator panel. Remove glove box. Disconnect two vacuum lines from defroster actuator. Disconnect Orange vacuum line from recirculation actuator and install hand vacuum pump. Remove defroster actuator from its attachment to HVAC module case. Using hand vacuum pump, open recirculation actuator door. See Figure. Rotate defroster actuator to right and up into opening between back of dash and opening into HVAC module. Disconnect defroster actuator from defroster door arm.
