Idle Air Control Valve: Removal

CAUTION: For calibration purposes, several different style Idle Air Control (IAC) valves are used. Ensure replacement valve has the same part number as original valve.

Turn ignition off. Remove sight shield (top engine cover) if necessary. Disconnect harness connector from IAC valve. See Figure . Remove IAC valve and "O" ring from throttle body assembly. See Figure .
