Removal & Installation (Lower & Upper Front Mode Actuators)

  1. Remove engine cover. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove instrument panel. See appropriate INSTRUMENT PANELS article in ACCESSORIES & EQUIPMENT.
  2. Disconnect vacuum hose from mode actuator. See Figure. Remove mode actuator from heater case. Disconnect linkage from mode actuator.
  3. To install, reverse removal procedure.
