Installation Procedure

- Install the power seat switch to the trim plate by snapping the switch into place. See Figure.
- Connect the power seat switch electrical connector.CAUTION: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
- Install the screws that retain the power seat trim plate to the cover.
Tighten
Tighten the screws that retain the power seat trim plate to the cover to 2 N.m (18 in lbs).
- Install the seat bolts to the seat riser.
Tighten
Tighten the riser to seat retaining bolts to 30 N.m (22 ft lbs).
- Install the seat riser trim cover.
- Install the screws to seat riser trim cover.
Tighten
Tighten the screws to seat riser trim cover to 2 N.m (18 in lbs).
