Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the rear bench seat from the vehicle.
  2. The rear bench seat release lever is a 2 stage mechanism. See Fig 1. In order to release the latch, 2 levels of lift effort are required:
    1. A low lift effort to overcome the first stage
    2. A second lift effort in order to fully release the latch mechanism

  4. Release the latch mechanism. See Fig 2.
  5. Remove the rear bench seat from the vehicle.

  7. Remove the rear bench seat riser cover trim. See Fig 3.

  9. Remove the seat riser bolts from the rear bench seat. See Fig 4.
  10. Remove the seat risers from the rear bench seat.
