Installation Procedure

Install the seat riser spacer to the seat risers.
CAUTION: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
Install the seat riser spacer nuts and bolts to the seat tracks.
Tighten

Tighten the seat riser spacer nuts and bolts to the seat tracks to 30 N.m (22 ft lbs).
Install the manual seat adjuster wire to the seat tracks.
Install the power seat to the seat risers if equipped. Refer to Seat Adjuster Mechanism Replacement - Power .
Install the seat belt guide to the seat riser.
Install the nuts that retain the seat to the risers. See Figure.
Tighten

Tighten the nuts that retain the seat to the riser to 43 N.m (32 ft lbs).
Install the seat and the seat riser in the vehicle.
Connect the electrical connector to the power seat if equipped.
Install the nuts that retain the seat to the floor. See Figure.
Tighten

Tighten the nuts that retain the seat to the floor to 43 N.m (32 ft lbs).
Install the seat belt to the side of the seat belt guide.
