Removal Procedure

- Remove the bench seat and risers from the vehicle. Refer to Seat Replacement - Rear Bench (2001) or Seat Replacement - Rear Bench (2002) .
- Remove the right and left sides of the seat back hinge trim. Refer to Seat Back Hinge Trim Replacement - Rear Left and Seat Back Hinge Trim Replacement - Rear Right (YC6)
.NOTE: Note the position and length of the bolts you remove. This will assist with reassembly.
- Remove the bolts retaining the seat back hinges to the seat cushion frame. See Figure.
- Remove the J-hooks that retain the seat cushion cover to the seat cushion frame. See Fig 1.
NOTE: Note the locations of the hog rings for reassembly.
- Remove the hog rings that retain the seat cushion cover to the seat cushion frame located at the rear edge of the seat frame. See Fig 2.
- Remove the seat back cushion cover and pad from the seat cushion frame. See Fig 3.
NOTE: Note the locations of the hog rings for reassembly.
- Remove the hog rings that retain the seat cushion cover to the seat cushion pad located under the seat cushion cover. See Figure.
- Remove the seat cushion cover from the seat cushion pad.
