Installation Procedure

- Install the seat cushion cover to the pad.
- Install the hog rings that retain the seat cushion cover to the pad in the locations noted during disassembly. See Figure.
- Install the seat cushion cover and the pad to the seat cushion frame. See Figure.
- Install the hog rings that retain the seat cushion cover to the seat cushion frame in the locations noted during disassembly.
- Install the J-hooks that retain the seat cushion cover and pad to the seat cushion frame.CAUTION: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
- Install the bolts that retain the seat back hinges to the seat cushion frame.
Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 30 N.m (22 ft lbs).
- Install the bucket seat to the seat risers. Refer to Seat Replacement - Bucket .
