Removal Procedure

- Remove the bucket seat from the seat riser. Refer to Seat Replacement - Bucket .
- Remove the seat cover J-hook from the seat cushion frame:
- Remove the J-hook at the rear of the seat.
- Remove the J-hook on the side of the seat containing the seat back hinge.
- Remove the J-hook that retains the cover to the carpet on the back of the seat on the side of the seat containing the seat back hinge.
NOTE: Note the position and length of all the bolts removed. This will assist with reassembly. - Remove the bolts that retain the seat back hinge to the seat cushion frame.
- Remove the armrests, if equipped. Refer to Armrest Replacement (YC7) or Armrest Replacement (YC6) .
- Lift the seat back cover and pad above the bolts that retain the seat back hinge to the seat back frame.NOTE: Note the position and length of all the bolts removed. This will assist with reassembly.
- Remove the bolts that retain the seat back hinge to the seat back frame. See Figure.CAUTION: Handle the seat carefully when just one side of the seat back is attached to the seat cushion. Improper handling may damage the seat back hinge or the lumbar support cable.
- Remove the seat back hinge from the seat back frame.
