Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 GMC Safari, 2002 Chevrolet Astro, 2001 GMC Safari, and 2001 Chevrolet Astro. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the seat back cover to the pad. See Figure.
    NOTE: Install the hog rings that retain the seat back cover to the pad in the locations noted during disassembly.
  2. Install the hog rings to seat back cover to the pad. See Figure.
  3. Install the seat back and pad to the seat back frame. See Figure.
  4. Connect the J-hook fasteners at the bottom corner of the seat back.
  5. Install the armrests. Refer to Armrest Replacement (YC7)  or Armrest Replacement (YC6)  .
  6. Install the bucket seat in the vehicle. Refer to Seat Replacement - Bucket .
