Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the bucket seat from the vehicle. Refer to Seat Replacement - Bucket .
  2. Remove the seat back cover and pad from the seat back frame. Refer to Seat Back Cover and Pad Replacement (YC5 and YC6)  or Seat Back Cover and Pad Replacement (YC7)  .
  3. Disconnect the lumbar plate cable (1) from the lumbar plate. See Figure.
  4. Pull rearward on the lumbar plate corners to release it from the seat back frame. See Figure.
  5. Remove the lumbar plate from the seat back frame. See Figure.
  6. Remove the bucket seat cushion cover and pad. Refer to Seat Cushion Cover Replacement - Front (YC5 and YC6)  or Seat Cushion Cover Replacement - Front (YC7)  .
  7. Remove the lumbar support cable clip.
  8. Remove the lumbar support cable from the side of the bucket seat cushion frame. See Fig 1.

  10. Remove the lumbar support cable and housing from the bucket seat cushion frame. See Fig 2.
