Plugged Drain Hose

If a water leak has occurred, inspect for a plugged drain hose at each corner of drainage system.

Open the sunroof window.
To test for blockage, pour a small container of water into the module housing drain trough. Inspect each corner to confirm that the drain hose is draining water.
Use compressed air, not more than 241 kPa (35 psi), to blow out any drain hose that is plugged.
Test the system again.
If the hose remains plugged, verify that the hose is properly routed and does not have a kink. See Drain Hose Routing above.
Remove any hoses that remains plugged. Refer to Sunroof Drain Hose Replacement - Front and to Sunroof Drain Hose Replacement - Rear .
Remove the blockage using the following steps.
1. 7.1. Push a mechanics wire through the hose to remove the obstruction.
2. 7.2. Use compressed air in order to blow out any remaining material.
3. 7.3. Reinstall the hose. Refer to Drain Hose Routing above.
