Removal (3.4L)

  1. Turn ignition switch to OFF position.
  2. Disconnect the Evaporative Emission (EVAP) canister purge valve harness connector.
  3. Disconnect the EVAP canister purge valve pipe and the vacuum supply hose. See Fig 1 .
  4. Remove the EVAP canister purge valve retaining bolt. See Fig 2 .
  5. Remove the EVAP canister purge valve.
