Ignition Coil Housing (2.2L): Removal

NOTE:
Numbers in parenthesis correspond to numbered components in referenced illustrations.
- Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Remove the air cleaner outlet resonator, air cleaner intake duct and vent hose.
- Disconnect the cruise control cable (2) from the throttle body (3) and the accelerator bracket (1). See Figure .
- Disconnect the cruise control cable (2) from the throttle body (3) and the accelerator bracket (1). See Figure .
- Remove the 2 accelerator bracket nuts (3). See Figure .
- Remove the accelerator bracket (2) from the throttle body (1). See Figure .
- Disconnect Ignition Control Module (ICM) harness connector. See Fig 1 .
- Remove ICM retaining screws. Remove ICM from ignition coil housing. See Figure .
- Remove ignition coil housing retaining bolts. Remove ignition coil housing from camshaft cover.
