Knock Sensor: Removal

The Knock Sensor (KS) is located in engine block, near starter. See Fig 1.
- Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Disconnect negative battery cable.
- Remove the starter.
- Disconnect the KS harness connector.
- Remove the KS retaining bolt.
- Remove the KS.
