Heated Oxygen Sensor 1: Installation

- Apply a coating of anti-seize on the HO2S 1 sensor threads if reusing HO2S. NEW HO2S comes with anti-seize on threads. Install the HO2S 1 (2) into the exhaust pipe.
- Tighten HO2S 1 to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . See Figure .
- Install HO2S 1 wiring pigtail and body plug (1) into the floor pan.
- Lower vehicle.
- Connect the HO2S 1 harness connector.
- Install the carpet (2) around the front floor console (3). See Figure .
- Secure the carpet to the front floor console using the retaining pin (1). See Figure .
