Removal & Installation: Condenser: Installation

- If replacing the condenser, add 2 oz. PAG oil to the condenser. Install the condenser to the radiator. Install the bolts that retain the condenser to the radiator. Tighten the bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Install the center support bracket. Install NEW O-ring seals. Install the evaporator tube to the condenser. Tighten the evaporator tube nut. Tighten the nut to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Install NEW O-ring seals. Install the compressor hose assembly to the condenser. Tighten the nut to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Install the grille. Evacuate and recharge the system. See RECOVERY, EVACUATION & RECHARGING in GENERAL SERVICING PROCEDURES article in GENERAL SERVICING. Leak test the fittings of the component. See LEAK TESTING in GENERAL SERVICING PROCEDURES article in GENERAL SERVICING. Install the air cleaner assembly. See Figure.
