Removal & Installation

  1. Remove the passenger side knee bolster. See appropriate INSTRUMENT PANELS article in ACCESSORIES & EQUIPMENT. Remove the right cowl trim panel. Remove the vacuum hose from the recirculation actuator. Remove the nuts that retain the recirculation actuator. See Fig 1. Remove the recirculation actuator from the recirculation door.
  2. Install the recirculation actuator to the recirculation door. Install the nuts that retain the recirculation actuator. Tighten the nuts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Install the vacuum hose. Install the right cowl trim panel. Install the passenger side knee bolster.
