Hot Water By-Pass Valve: Removal

  1. Drain the engine coolant. Remove the air cleaner assembly. Remove the hose clamps from the outlet hose and the inlet hose using the Hose Clamp Pliers. See Figure.
  2. Disconnect the vacuum line from the bypass valve. Remove the heater inlet hose and the outlet hose from the bypass valve. See Figure. Remove the bypass valve from the vehicle.
