Blower Motor: Removal

Remove the coolant recovery tank or the surge tank. Remove the blower motor insulator (if equipped). See Figure. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the blower motor. Remove the retaining screws from the blower motor. Remove the blower motor from the case. Remove the retaining clip from the fan cage. Remove the fan cage from the blower motor. See Figure.
