Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) receives a class 2 message from PCM indicating coolant temperature and illuminates HOT COOLANT TEMP indicator in message center when IPC determines that coolant temperature is more than 250°F (121°C). IPC also sends a class 2 message to radio in order to activate a continuous audible warning.
