Fuel Pump Removal (LLT or LCS)

  1. Remove the fuel rail noise shield.
    2. Fig 2: Identifying Fuel Feed Pipe & Bracket

  2. Remove the fuel rail wiring connectors from the fuel feed pipe bracket.
  3. Remove the fuel feed pipe bolts.
  4. Remove the fuel feed pipe.

  5. Remove the LH to RH fuel rail crossover pipe.

  6. Remove and discard high pressure fuel line. - LH Cylinder Head

  7. Remove and discard high pressure fuel pump bolts (1). - LH Cylinder Head
  8. Remove the high pressure fuel pump (2). - LH Cylinder Head
  9. Remove the valve lifter follower (3). - LH Cylinder Head
  10. Remove and discard the high pressure fuel pump gasket (4). - LH Cylinder Head
  11. Remove and discard the high pressure fuel pump O-ring (5). - LH Cylinder Head
