Installation Procedure

  1. If necessary, perform the following steps:

  2. Install a NEW cylinder head gasket.

  3. Carefully install the cylinder head with the exhaust manifold to the engine. Refer to Cylinder Head Installation - Right Side .
  4. Install the right bank secondary timing chain. Refer to Secondary Camshaft Intermediate Drive Chain Replacement - Right Side .
  5. Install the engine. Refer to Engine Replacement (LCS)  or Engine Replacement (LY7) .
