Circuit/System Testing

  1. Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connector at the appropriate HO2S 1.
  2. Connect a 3 A fused jumper wire between the reference voltage circuit terminal 6 and low reference circuit terminal 2.
  3. Ignition ON, test for greater than 1 volt between the pump current circuit terminal 5 and ground.
    • If less than the specified range, test the pump current circuit for an open. If the circuit tests normal, replace the ECM.
  4. If all circuits test normal, replace the appropriate HO2S 1.
