Component Testing

  1. Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connector at the transmission shift lever.
  2. Test for 6.6-7.0K ohms of resistance between terminals 2 and 6 of the automatic transmission control.
    • If not within the specified range, replace the transmission shift lever.
  3. Test for 1.7-2.1K ohms of resistance between terminals 2 and 6 of the automatic transmission control while pressing the upshift button.
    • If not within the specified range, replace the transmission shift lever.
  4. Test for 3.8-4.2K ohms of resistance between terminals 2 and 6 of the automatic transmission control while pressing the downshift button.
    • If not within the specified range, replace the transmission shift lever.
