Conditions for Running the DTC

Before the ECM can report DTC P0116 failed, DTC P0117, P0118, and P2610 must run and pass.
The actual engine coolant temperature during the previous ignition cycle was greater than 85°C (185°F).
OR
The engine was operating for greater than 10 minutes in the previous ignition cycle.
The accumulated air mass of the previous ignition cycle was greater than 6,007 grams.
The ignition was OFF for greater than 317 minutes after the previous engine shut down.
The calculated engine coolant temperature is less than 50°C (120°F).
The DTC runs once an ignition cycle when the above conditions are met for greater than 35 seconds.
