Circuit/System Verification

  1. Engine idling, raise the engine speed to greater than 1,500 RPM while observing the following scan tool control circuit status parameters
    • Htr Ckt Short Gnd Test Status
    • Htr Ckt Open Test Status
    • Htr Ckt Short Volts Test Status

      Each parameter should display OK or Not Run.

  2. Engine idling at normal operating temperature, verify the scan tool Loop Status Bn 1 Sen 1 and Loop Status Bn 2 Sen 1 display Closed Loop.
  3. Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC to verify the DTC does not reset. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
