The mechanical components of the Hybrid Two-Mode MK3 2MT70 Transmission are as follows:

Torque dampener assembly
Gerotor-type main fluid pump assembly
Gerotor type auxiliary fluid pump assembly
Input shaft and internal gear assembly
Sun gear carrier assembly first position
Drive motor with generator assembly first and second position (A & B) position
Internal gear assembly second position
Sun gear carrier assembly second position
VL 1-2R, C2-3-4, C1-3R and 4th clutch housing assembly
Main shaft assembly
Center support assembly
Output shaft assembly
Control valve body assembly

The electrical components of the Hybrid Two-Mode MK3 2MT70 are as follows:

Two electric concentric motors, motor A 47 KW and motor B 55 KW
Output speed sensor assembly
Manual shift shaft position switch
Control solenoid valve assembly, which contains the following components:
- Transmission control module (TCM)
- 6 variable bleed line pressure control (PC) solenoids
- 4 transmission fluid pressure (TFP) switch assemblies
- Torque dampener clutch pressure control solenoid (PCS5)
- 2 shift solenoids
