Removal Procedure

Remove the ignition key and wait five minutes to allow capacitors to discharge.
Lift the rear compartment floor stowage access cover.
Slide the battery disconnect cut-off switch (1) to the unlatched position.

Wait 5 seconds then pull up to remove the battery disconnect cut-off switch (1).
