Installation Procedure

  1. Install the drive belt to the crankshaft pulley, the tensioner and the idler pulley.
  2. Rotate the drive belt tensioner clockwise.
  3. Install the drive belt to the generator (1).
    4. IMPORTANT: Ensure the drive belt is properly aligned and seated into the grooves of the accessory drive pulleys.
  4. Slowly release the drive belt tensioner.
  5. Raise the vehicle.
  6. Partially thread the lower right side engine mount bracket bolt in place.
  7. Install the right side engine mount bracket. Refer to Engine Mount Bracket Replacement - Right Side .
  8. Install the engine splash shield.
