Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement .
  2. Remove the oil level indicator.
  3. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .

  5. Remove the engine wiring harness clip (3) from the oil level indicator tube bracket.

  7. Remove the knock sensor electrical connector lead (4) from the oil level indicator tube bracket.
  8. Lower the vehicle.

  10. Remove the oil level indicator tube bolt.
  11. Remove the oil level indicator tube.
  12. Remove the oil level indicator tube O-ring seals, if necessary.
