Front Side Door Lock Cylinder Replacement

Preliminary Procedure: Remove the front side door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
1	Front Side Door Outside Handle Screws Access Cover Procedure: Remove the water deflector. Tip: Use a flat-bladed tool to remove the cover.
2	Front Side Door Outside Handle Lock Cylinder Screw CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Procedures Disconnect the lock rod from the cylinder. Do Not remove the cylinder screw completely from the housing un-screw the screw to a hard stop, remove the cylinder. Tip: It is not necessary to remove the outside door handle or housing to replace the cylinder. Tighten: 5 N.m (44 lb in)
3	Front Side Door Outside Handle Lock Cylinder Cover
4	Front Side Door Outside Handle Lock Cylinder Procedure Ensure that the front side door outside handle cap gasket stay in place when installing. Inspect the door for proper operation before installing the door trim panel.
