Fluid Cooler Outlet Hose Replacement

Callout Component Name
Preliminary Procedure: 
Remove the battery tray. Refer to Battery Tray Replacement (HP7) .
1 Transmission Fluid Cooler Pipe Nut
CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Tighten:  22 N.m (16 lb ft)

2 Sealing Washer
Tip:  Remove and discard the sealing washer.
3 Rear Transmission Fluid Cooler Outlet Hose

Procedure:

  1. Disconnect the transmission line from the radiator and transmission. Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection .
  2. Note the routing of the transmission line to ensure proper installation.
  3. Remove the transmission line from the clips securing the line to the transmission and fan shroud.
  4. Inspect the transmission fluid level. Refer to Transmission Fluid Check .
