Removal Procedure

    CAUTION: Allow sufficient clearance around the transaxle oil cooler pipes and around the hoses to prevent damage or wear which may cause fluid loss.
  1. Remove the battery box. Refer to Battery Tray Replacement (HP7) .

  3. Remove the upper transaxle oil cooler pipe fitting at the radiator.
  4. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  5. Position a drain pan under the transaxle cooler pipes.
  6. Remove the transaxle oil cooler pipe retaining nut from the transaxle.
  7. Remove the transaxle oil cooler pipe from the transaxle.
  8. Remove the lower transaxle oil cooler pipe fitting at the radiator.
  9. Remove the transaxle oil cooler pipe retaining clip from the radiator.
  10. Remove the transaxle oil cooler pipes from the vehicle.
