Hood Primary and Secondary Latch Replacement

Preliminary Procedure: Remove the radiator opening upper cover. Refer to Radiator Opening Upper Cover Replacement .
1	Hood Latch Mounting Bolt (Qty: 3) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten: 10 N.m (89 lb in)
2	Hood Latch Assembly Procedure Disconnect the remote start electrical connector, if equipped. Disconnect the release cable from the hood latch by squeezing the cable retainer.

Hood Latch Mounting Bolt (Qty: 3)

CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Tighten: 10 N.m (89 lb in)

Hood Latch Assembly

Procedure

Disconnect the remote start electrical connector, if equipped.
Disconnect the release cable from the hood latch by squeezing the cable retainer.
