Installation Procedure

  1. Install the blower motor impeller (1) to the blower motor (2).

  2. Install the blower motor impeller retention clip (1) to the blower motor shaft (2).

  3. Install the blower motor to the HVAC module.
    4. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  4. Install the blower motor screws to the HVAC module.

    Tighten:  Tighten the screws to 1 N.m (9 lb in).

  5. Connect the electrical connector to the blower motor.
  6. Install the right side insulator/closeout panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Right Side .
