Installation Procedure

  1. Install NEW oil level indicator tube O-ring seals, if necessary.
  2. Install the oil level indicator tube.
    3. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  3. Install the oil level indicator tube bolt.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  4. Raise and support the vehicle.

  5. Install the knock sensor electrical connector lead (4) to the oil level indicator tube bracket.

  6. Install the engine wiring harness clip (3) to the oil level indicator tube bracket.
  7. Lower the vehicle.

  8. Install the oil level indicator.
  9. Install the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement .
