Engine Front Cover and Oil Pump Installation

Install the engine front cover with a new gasket.

NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.

Install the long water pump bolt.
Tighten: Tighten the water pump bolt to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

Install the engine front cover bolts.
Tighten: Tighten the engine front cover bolts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

Install the drive belt tensioner bracket.
Install the drive belt tensioner bracket bolts.
Tighten: Tighten the drive belt tensioner bracket bolts to 45 N.m (33 lb ft).

Install the accessory drive belt tensioner.
Install the accessory drive belt tensioner bolt.
Tighten: Tighten the bolt to 45 N.m (33 lb ft).
